This position offers employees the opportunity to become a Crew Member for two departments of the University. You will work primarily in the office of M.T.S but can also be assigned as needed to work in any of three (3) theaters/venues on campus as well as outdoor events. Employees will assist with setup, facilitate events, and strike various setups from small to very large.
This position requires excellent customer service skills; daily checking in/out of equipment; asset management; setup, teardown, and facilitating for special events and productions; delivery, setup, and pickup of equipment to various locations on campus; general office management such as answering phones, filing, inventory, and other duties as assigned.
Computer and general technology skills preferred, attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality are needed. Ability to lift objects of 1-35lbs (.4-16 Kg) alone and up to 80lbs (37Kg) in a team lift. Delivering equipment via walking on campus is often required. Must be able to perform many setups from memory after training on setups has been completed. Audio engineering, lighting controller, and rigging experience are a plus. Ability to work mornings, evenings and/or weekends. Schedules will be agreed upon by both employee and supervisor.
Must be a full time WNMU student.
