Employee is expected to assist in the effective execution of technological setups, clerical work, and other day to day tasks as assigned towards the needs of the Music Program. Work occasional weekends and evenings
- Should be able to lift objects no heavier than 20lbs
-Staff front desk and offer directional guidance for building/campus
-Assist Music Program Coordinator w/organizational tasks and document processing
-Keep lobby and hallways free and clear of excess materials
-Staff the Parotti Recital Hall during lectures and other events (Sound, Video, & Recording)
-Assist in setup/cleanup of any event in Parotti Recital Hall including classes
-Be knowledgeable in all areas of Expressive Arts to assist any person with questions about department
-Offer creative ideas to Music Program Coordinator on how to better serve the student population in the department and as a whole.
Training on all equipment will be provided to employee by knowledgeable Staff so that employee can confidently work unsupervised when necessary. Applicants should be eager to learn, outgoing, and have the ability to problem solve on their own. Note: Supervisor(s) will always be available in any emergency situation.
