Western New Mexico University

Western Institute for Lifelong Learning (WILL) is a WNMU affiliated senior lifelong learning group with 380 members.  We require a capable person to assist WILL members with a variety of basic functions in an office environment for the 2020/2021 school year.

• Provide audio-visual support for WILL courses.  Receive training and then set up audio-visual equipment as needed for courses and programs.
• After being trained, give orientations to members on how to use various functions of WILL's website, www.will.community   Help members with website login and course registration.
• Assist WILL’s Office Specialist with basic office management tasks and errands.
• Support WILL Committee chairs and members with projects, including the Communications Committee and Social Committee.
• Maintain a lending library of books and DVDs that members have donated.
• Greet and support leaders and members who use Rhoda House (a university house on the edge of campus which WILL uses as its headquarters).
• Provide advice on a variety of basic computer and smartphone issues for WILL members.  Give one-on-one assistance when general technology questions arise.

• Reliably commit to working three-hour shifts.
• Ability to work with older adults, patience, flexibility, positive.
• General know-how of computers, computer literacy for mac and pc; smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
